Bikini Competitors: Is your Butt STAGE READY?

Is your butt good enough to set you apart from the other competitors on stage? If so, the chances of winning your class are pretty good.

Whether or not the glutes are the most important body part to the judges is debatable (they’re looking at everything), but there is no question that it seems to be the area that makes or breaks many competitors.

It’s no secret that women tend to lose fat in their lower bodies only after they’ve lost significant fat everywhere else.  In fact, there is actually a scientific explanation confirming this to be a legit problem for even very lean women.

The figure and bodybuilding girls are able to work this problem out with their typical aggressive pre-contest diets, but even then it’s often not until they’ve reached extremely low bodyfat levels that their lower body fat begins to shed.

So you’re probably asking yourself (or your computer screen):

“Why can’t I just do what the figure and bodybuilding girls are doing?”

“If they’re able to diet down enough to tighten up their glutes, why can’t I?”

Well, you can…but there is a good chance that by the time you get your butt looking as tight as you would like, the rest of you would be a little too “hard” for bikini division.  This is not a concern for everyone as genetics certainly play a huge role, but it’s definitely a concern for many.

So what is the answer? You need to rely a little more heavily on your butt training so that you’re nice and firm back there even at the moderate bodyfat levels ideal for bikini.

While competitors in other divisions are focusing primarily on multi-joint lower body exercises such as squatting, lunging and deadlifting variations, you need to be adding in isolation movements for the hips and glutes.

Don’t get me wrong, multi-joint exercises should definitely make up the majority of your lower body (and upper for that matter) training, but you will definitely need extra isolation work if being tight back there is of particular concern.

So how do I learn which exercises isolate the butt the most? Why, you sign up for my free E-Book “Bikini Competition Butt”, that’s how!  It has all the information you need to get started, including written instructions, exercise demo videos, a nutrition section, and multiple bonus chapters that will be sent to your inbox.
