How I Work

As many similarities as my clients tend to have with regard to their goals, trouble areas and background, I can still say that no two cases are the same.  That is why I’ve put together a highly effective system of assessment that has allowed me to completely avoid the typical ‘trial and error’ approach employed by many Personal Trainers and workout enthusiasts.

Do you have a fitness strategy?

Poor planning can set you up for disaster!

We will begin by taking a look at the following factors:

  • Your specific goals. Whether fat loss, muscle gain, athletic improvement, bikini competition prep or just general hotness…we need to find out what it is so we can GO GET IT!
  • What has worked in getting you where you are…after all, you have made some GREAT PROGRESS on your own, and the steps you took to get there deserve some consideration!
  • What may be holding you back from getting over the hump and achieving the BODY OF YOUR DREAMS!  This means what you’ve been eating, when you’ve been eating it, how much time you’re committing to diet and exercise per week, how you’re addressing progression within your current approach and many other important factors we’ll need to iron out.
  • Health History and Physical Limitations. This is almost never a deal breaker, so don’t worry if you have a few health concerns to work around.  I spent the first 7 years of my career working for a hospital-based wellness center and have always made a top priority of learning how to work around (and often times ‘accidentally’ improve) physical limitations.  We just need to know what they are so we can make the simple adjustments that will keep you healthy enough to get that hot body!
  • What our approach will be. By the time we’ve finished discussing all of the pertinent information, I will be able to tell you what I think we need to do to attack your stubborn problem areas and get you looking and feeling great!  There are enough different ways of achieving the desired result that we will have plenty of room to find an approach that will be both enjoyable and productive for both of us.  After all, this is about you feeling better, so you need to enjoy the process!
  • When and Where we will train. Some of this will be dictated by your specific needs.  While most of my clients can get the results they’re looking for training outdoors or in-home, there are some cases (such as figure competition training) where gym equipment is needed.  If this is the case, we would want to train at my semi-private studio at least on the workout days where special equipment is needed.   Don’t worry, this does not mean waiting around for equipment or working around people who are glued to their i-phones.  My studio is very private, well equipped and geared towards people who are serious about getting in shape!
